Clomiphene Citrate acts by inhibiting the action of estrogen. Clomiphene is commonly used by subjects using anabolic agents. Clomiphene binds the estrogen receptors in their bodies, thereby blocking the effects of estrogen, i.e. gynecomastia. Clomiphene is the anti-estrogen of choice for improving recovery of natural testosterone production, improving testosterone production of endurance athletes, and is also effective in reducing risk of gynecomastia employing aromatizable anabolic agents.
